A recent report from the California Department of Consumer Affairs
focuses on what actions have already been taken and future plans for consumer
protection. The Enforcement Progress Report will be issued monthly and
will detail current and future enforcement actions.
Highlights from this issue cover how the current backlog of cases is being
handled and new guidelines that have been created to cut the time of
preparation and transmittal of pre-accusation from about 12 months down to
four months.
