New Car Seat Law in California
A new year brings with it
new laws. One to take note of right now is the new requirement
for children in car seats. Up until yesterday children in
California were required to ride in a car or booster seat only until they weighed 60 pounds or were 6 years old. The new law requires
a child to be at least 4 feet, 9 inches tall or at least 8 years
old. Violating the law will cost the driver a minimum of $475 if
ticketed.
